Last 6 July, the 9th edition of the iDermo Awards was held at the Pedrera auditorium in Barcelona, which was attended by pharmacists, bloggers, opinion leaders and representatives of the most important brands and laboratories in Spain.
The iDermo Awards have the purpose of rewarding the effort and devotion throughout the year of brands in the dermo-cosmetics and OTC sector. The ceremony comprised 24 different categories and, this year, as a novelty, the new categories of Best Sustainable Products, Best Colour Product and Best Health Communicator were included.
For the first time, ARQUIMEA participated in these awards with its first product from the Consumer Health line: Siluete, a lip balm that helps to avoid snacking between meals. Siluete, which was launched to the market just three months ago, was a finalist in three categories: Best Sustainable Product, Best OTC Product and Best Innovative Product.
Finally, Siluete received the Bronze Award for Best Sustainable Product, awarded by a professional jury from the pharmaceutical sector, thanks to its 100% natural formula; to its sustainable production through environmentally-friendly processes; and to its awareness, reflected throughout its packaging and product communication.
Siluete is produced from 100% natural substances, sustainably produced and extracted using environmentally-friendly processes, such as supercritical CO2 extract, the most sustainable and least polluting process for the industry. These extracts do not give off emissions or contain traces of solvents, additives, metal catalysts or heavy metals. In addition, it allows to obtain a high performance by achieving the maximum concentration of aromatic substances and a long shelf life, as it is oxygen-free.
This award represents the efforts of the whole family of the ARQUIMEA Health area, their scientific and research spirit for the development of innovative products that help to improve people’s health through prevention.
