The ESA (European Space Agency) and ARQUIMEA, are organizing the ninth edition of the professional meeting on analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for space applications (AMICSA) to be held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid from May 30 to June 3, 2022.
The deadline to participate as a speaker at the conference is open during the month of March. Those interested can submit their abstract through the congress website to showcase and share new projects and developments to the community of specialists in the sector.
After two years without being able to be held in person, due to Covid-19 restrictions and an online edition last year, AMICSA 2022 will bring together experts in this segment in Madrid with the aim of presenting and discussing recent advances in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design techniques and technologies for space applications. The congress is supported by leading international companies in the sector, including ARQUIMEA, imec and ISD.
The congress revolves around a segment of great importance for the space industry, which requires the application of the latest and most modern technologies available. The meeting covers topics such as the effects of radiation on integrated circuits or the methodologies for radiation hardening by means of cell, circuit and system design techniques, as well as radiation tests or the qualification and quantification of the radiation hardness of integrated circuits. In addition, aspects such as intellectual property and the reusability of circuits in space will be addressed, together with the needs and requirements for future space missions.
ARQUIMEA, ESA’s partner company for this ninth edition, has made great efforts to ensure that this edition of AMICSA is held in the Spanish capital and that more than a hundred experts in these matters meet in Madrid, where, in addition to the series of conferences, they will be able to enjoy a program of activities oriented to networking.
