Antimicrobial technology

At ARQUIMEA Research Center we are developing early treatments applicable to the cosmetic industry, from biomass or microalgal extracts collected from the Canary coast. To do this, we are carrying out a selection of microalgae that have the potential to inhibit the growth of different bacteria and subsequently we will study their possible cytotoxicity and the possible genes involved in the antimicrobial function.
